Purpose:  The purpose of this experiential learning session is to provide a structured learning environment for the new Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner to become comfortable talking with and conducting a head-to-toe physical assessment with children at different developmental stages. Participants will interact with standardized patients of different ages. This course meets the Well-Child Examination requirements for the Texas SANE certification. Attendees must have completed a Pediatric Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner Education Course.

 

Cost:  $30 to cover the cost lunch for July 17-18.
